One hell of a crew
To make the Ocean to Ocean Oz work, we need one hell of a crew… A team of 12 people will be split between the two Mercedes Benz support vehicles – the Vito and the Kidney Kamper – over the two journeys.
The first team will go from the start line at Surfers Paradise to Fremantle where the second team will be waiting, with fresh supplies, to jump into the driving seat for the trip back to the Gold Coast.
They will be of pivotal importance because one of the vehicles is for the dedicated film crew, of whom two members will be doing the double crossing!!! Andrea Seed, event and media manager from Poppyseed Media in the UK is one of those doing the double crossing together with cameraman Peter Turner.
We admire their commitment to o2o OZ. Andrea comes with ‘cred’. She did the O2O USA Challenge east to west and shared the driving of the 1988 Plymouth Police car.
