Made it to Birdsville!
At the end of two full days of driving, we have finally arrived in Birdsville. This place is literally the end of the road, and we are now on the edge of the Simpson Desert.
So tomorrow we venture off onto the 4×4 tracks headed for Alice Springs, where we will hopefully arrive in about four days or so. Unfortunately the Vito can’t travel through this terrain, so it’s headed up the dirt road and will join us somewhere out in the middle of nowhere as we head north east from Alice Springs.
I’m not expecting to have any mobile coverage for the next three nights, but I’ll be sure to post some great pics when we get to Alice. For now, gotta get my shuteye.
Tomorrow is going to be full on!
