Day 8: Taking the Scenic Route!
We started the second leg of our journey at 5am hoping to arrive at our destination with time to spare, however it wasn’t meant to be…
On the dirt roads to Leinster and less than half way to our destination the Rattler has been held up with not one, but two flat tyres and we are now onto our only spares! To make it worse, we all managed to take a wrong turn and as a result we’ve taken a 120km scenic detour. We’ve since found our way back on to the road we needed and are headed SE to Cue. They say bad luck runs in three’s so hopefully it’s goodluck for the Rattler from now on!!
