Michael is a highly experienced motorsport professional. Having completed his mechanical apprenticeship with Ford in Australia some 17 years ago, he went on to work in the V8 Supercars Championship as the Crew Chief for Dick Johnson Racing, Australia’s most prestigious and oldest Touring Car team.
He also worked with Ferrari and Maserati in Sydney as Workshop Manager and now owns a successful automotive business specialising in restorations and mechanical upgrades.
Michael’s ability to work under pressure and his technical experience in motor racing was a major contributing factor to the success of the US Ocean To Ocean Challenge.
