A new starting line
On their day off, Rod and Michael did a reccie of the starting point we had planned for the Ocean 2 Ocean Challenge USA. It was a shock to find that we couldn’t access the park as it had been closed due to lack of funds.
So in between a quick visit to Central Park for a hotdog and some souvenir shopping in Time Square, they managed to find a new location – the corner of Ocean Avenue and Drury Avenue, Staten Island.
